| Northern
Route: Another route to follow for whom prefer to visit the area are
the small towns of Gorafe or Villanueva de las Torres, where you will live a unique
experience as a feeling of dream covers you. This route also gives you the chance to visit
the village of Fonelas or the bigger town of Gor, which happens to be a more centrical
town where one can visit its XVI century church next to the "Via Augusta".
Other places, of cultural attraction are the Caves at Guadix or Purullena, or the neighbouring town of Graena, with its thermal water baths. Monumental routes of the South: Between deep valleys with red mountains peaks and full of caves is La Peza. . Archeologic route: Anothe route to take for your cultural knowledge is to visit the town of Piñar and its famous "Window´s Cave", on your way there you will go through the town of Iznalloz where the "Siloesca" church of the XVI century is a must see atraction Monumental routes of the South: The city of Guadix, with the impressive views of its Cathedral and the village of "La Calahorra" with the greatneess of its castle build during the XVI century, being "La Calahorra" the place that opens the gates to the marvellous mountain pass of "La Ragua". Other small towns and villages spatter the area as Lanteira, Alquife ior Jerez del Marquesado. |
